Google Meet - How to Record a Google Meet Session Option 1 - How to record a Google Meet Session using Sreenity Chrome Extension Start a Google Meet session via Google Workspace or via Schoology Locate the Screenity Chrome extension in Chrome Allow Screenity to access the camera and microphone, then click "Use it free - no sign up needed!" Click on the blue "Start recording" button. Then select "Allow" Choose what you want to share: Entire Screen, Window or Chrome Tab, then click the "Share" button to start recording. When finished recording, click the "Stop sharing" button. Chrome browser will automatically open your recording. ⚠️WARNING ⚠️Do not refresh the browser or your video will be lost! Edit the recording if desired. Save the recording to Google Drive (you will be asked to sign in with your district account). The recording may also be downloaded as an .mp4 file for local video playback. Option 2 - How to record a Google Meet Session using Record Google Meet Chrome Extension Locate and pin the Record Google Meet extension in Chrome Start a Google Meet session via Google Workspace or via Schoology Click on the pinned Record Google Meet extension in Chrome and click Start Recording Choose what to share: Entire Screen, Window or a single Chrome Tab. You will be asked if you want to share audio as well. Click Share. Once recording starts, you will see pause/stop recording controls in the lower left part of the Meet screen. Once you click stop recording, you will be sent to the Record Google Meet extension page where the recording will be processed and available for editing and downloading.
