My Student isn't in Talking Points

Talking Points is a district application for EL students only.

To confirm that a student is a current EL students, navigate Infinite Campus to Student Information > Program Participation > English Learners (EL).

If the Program Status is set to "EL", the the student should be including in our nightly syncs with Talking Points within 48 hours.

The last modified date will be listed below the comments box showing the last time it was updated.

Note: The Talking Points Course (TP) is only for associating EL Teachers to Students. Entering a student in that class will not add them to TP, it will only associate them with the Teacher if they already have an account. All EL students coded as EL on the screen above are added to Talking Points automatically within 48 hours.
