Google Third-Party Authorization

Google is constantly updating its security controls resulting in changes for our organization. A recent change restricts Google accounts from authenticating (signing in) to third-party apps. If Google has verified an app, then DASD may continue to use Google Authentication to sign in. If Google has not verified an app, it is blocked from using Google Authentication. One example is the app "Kahoot!". Kahoot! with the Google Sign-in option will no longer be available due to Google's security change. The good news is that apps like Kahoot! often have a reset password feature that will allow you to regain access and start using a DASD email address and password to log in instead of Google Sign-in. The vast majority of the apps DASD uses have been verified. Please submit a Service Desk Request if you cannot access a DASD app impacted by this security change.
